Press Release: Immediate
“We expect the 2017 entries to include a great deal of mobile connectivity, perhaps some blockchain initiatives, plenty of interesting customer experience successes, a huge amount of analytics, and a good sprinkling of brilliance.”
The Loyalty Magazine Awards will be welcoming entries from India for the first time in 2017.
Launching the Call for Entries, the Loyalty Magazine Awards CEO Annich McIntosh said: “It is not possible to stand still and so we will continue to grow, both by encouraging more entries each year, and by inviting more and more countries to join in. In this way we introduce fresh ideas and initiatives that we can all learn from – and meet lots of interesting people at the gala dinner!”
The definition of eligibility for India is that entries will be accepted from end user companies (retailers, airlines, hotels, businesses etc) operating in the subcontinent of India, and from companies based in the subcontinent, that are operating programmes for end user companies either in India, or elsewhere in the world.
While The Loyalty Magazine Awards continue to grow and develop, one thing will stay the same: The venue of the Pavilion at the Tower of London for the awards gala dinner, which proved a tremendous success in 2016. The date for 2017 is June 20th.
The Loyalty Magazine Awards were launched six years ago to pay tribute to excellence in the practice of customer loyalty and retention throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, with India joining the roster in 2017.
Loyalty is defined as encompassing any type of customer interaction. It is not confined to reward programmes. “Customer experience remains at the top of the priority list for most companies, and technology is enabling some really interesting initiatives. But achieving customer loyalty is a difficult challenge,” said Annich. “The companies managing to win a Loyalty Magazine Award are at the very top of their game and deserve the recognition.”
In 2017 we are expecting to see really exciting and ground breaking examples of best loyalty and customer experience practice from all countries. We expect them to include a great deal of mobile connectivity, perhaps some blockchain initiatives, plenty of interesting customer experience successes, a huge amount of analytics, and a good sprinkling of brilliance.
There have been some minor changes to the categories to keep them up to date and relevant. These include:
